Lens Review

Before I post the next part to my haul,
I want to do a mini review on a circle lens site I found.
The website is called IEye Beauty, but the site is actually colorcontactsus.com.
On this site, I have made two separate orders and really like the service so far.
I will review the lens, but really want to recommend the site as well as the prices are quite low (lower than the site I used to purchase at), and shipping to East Coast only takes 1 week!

As well, on my first order one of the lens they sent me was wrong and they shipped a new one to me without any hassle :)

So on the the lenses!
The first lens I ordered were the GEO Magic Three Tone Color lenses in Gray.
They come packaged as such:
The packaging is so pretty and pink! But back to the lens...I must say that I don't like it.
Was really disappointed by GEO this time. The lens, which is supposed to look gray, looks more like a hazy brown on my eyes (which are dark brown). While I really wanted gray, I would settle for the brown, but the lenses make my eye look smaller! Crazy I know! I think this is better for those with small eyes, which this would just change the color and be very natural looking.
Close up of the lens.
The color is quite light and there is no dark ring.
The diameter is supposed to be 14.5mm but my natural eye ended up being a little bigger, making my eye seem smaller :(
So overall...
Enlarging: 0/5
Comfort: 4/5
Color: 2/5
Price: $16.20
Ya I didn't like these and would not recommend (unless you have really small and light eyes to begin with)=/

Next up are the ones that I've been moaning over the last few months. These puppies are quite expensive in my opinion, and are the reason I ordered the first pair (trying to pay less for a similar look).
But alas, I guess some things you just have to buy the real thing.
Yay! The Geo Princess Mimi Bambi lenses in Gray *drool*
I love these!
Although the price is a bit high, at $26.73, they are worth every penny!
Close up time-
These don't even look gray on the lens but look beyond great on the eye!
At 15mm diameter and a nice thick black outer rim, they really open up and enlarge my eyes while still looking semi natural.
(At home in poor light)
(Outside daytime)
So overall...
Color: 5/5
Comfort: 5/5
Enlarging: 5/5
Well worth it!

Until my next post (haul???),

Love and shopping,

Green Eyed Monster

Peek-a-boo!!!
Today's post is super exciting for me since it is about my first pair of circle lenses...
*excitement*
A while ago while I was perusing some awesome blogs, someone had a link to a website called eyecandys. So I decided to try it out!
***
For my first pair, I decided to go with green. The website is quite awesome as you can search for lenses by color, size, or length of wear.
So all I did after that was add the lenses to my cart and check out! The shipping is free so it's even more awesome! After about 3-4 days of processing (aka torture) they mailed it off and it arrived about a week and a half later. Not too bad when shipping can take 10-20 days according to their website.

And now for the pictures ***yay***
How it came in the package ~walaaaah~
Details on the lenses: Geo Angel Green
Diameter is 14.2, Base Curve of 8.6
*mission impossible: 5 level bottles...so hard to open!*
Uber close up of the lens. Outside of the eye it's super green in color, but on it is much more natural.
Looks pretty psychedelic eh *totes groovy*

And what they look like on...
Before/without on the left, and after/with on the right.
My camera kind of sucks so it's hard to tell, but my eye is just a tad bit bigger looking, but the most change is the color of my eye. To be honest I have giant eyes anyway and didn't really want to make them seem much bigger, so I'm glad it is a bit more subtle or natural looking. But you can also definitely tell a difference so I'm quite happy.

Final thoughts/opinion/review/whatever:
Color: 5/5 -It is a nice deep green color while looking quite natural, but still enhancing the eye.
Enlargement: 5/5 -Since I have big eyes I don't have much to say/compare to but they do even make my eye look bigger so two thumbs up^^
Comfort: 4/5 -At first they are just a bit hard to adjust to. My eyes get blurry every so often around the edges and so it's a bit uncomfortable. But other than that they don't feel thick on the eye. Also, they actually get more comfortable and unnoticeable the longer you wear them!
Price/Value: 5/5 -Granted these are my first pair of lenses, again I can not really compare them to others. But for the price of about $25 a pair (which lasts up to a year if taken care of properly), I think that it was a great buy. I'm really glad I tried these and want to definitely try more colors!

Ta-Ta for now!

Love,
