Blue, Black, and White Fantasy

Yay new post!

Firstly...here are the Nuts Magazines I ordered on Ebay:
The left one is December 2012's issue, and right is August 2013 issue.
This is February 2013's issue front and back. Emoda's ad on the back is just so inspirational!
So chic and stylish...LOVE

***I am really surprised at how much I have been enjoying these Nuts magazines...maybe a new fave although I am eternally loyal to Jelly***

These as well as my new Jelly and Blenda mags have really been influencing me (as proven in my last post) and so I wanted to share the items I bought that correspond with the trends.

The main trend I've been obsessed with has been basic clothes in black, white, and cobalt colors. As well as the houndstooth! These items below are all from Forever 21:
Faux leather speckle jean pants and a cap sleeve velvet crop top
Matching set! And it actually came together as a two piece! Loose checker print v-neck crop top (3/4 sleeves) and matching high waist flare skirt
And lots of houndstooth! Long black sweatshirt with houndstooth sleeves and leather trim high waist houndstooth legging pants!

Lastly,
I picked up this white over sized clutch (trend alert) featuring see through plastic (bonus trend)!
Love the studded frame of the bag and the fact that you can see all my things!
Downside is that I will have to actually organize it lol
I also love that this one comes with a made in white pouch for all of your valuables.

Well that's all for today!

Love and peace,

Sierra Anastasia

A Little Inspiration

Happy October!
Today I want to make a post about my recent style inspirations.
So...my blog has changed yet again, but not too much.
Before it was a lot of white, black, and purple, and now it just has a lot more black (for fall & winter), but is still mostly those colors.
ALSO! The background is my and Japanese designer's new obsession (really everyone's): houndstooth.
Houndstooth has found its way onto my phone, my make up case, and now my blog.

But moving on...magazines!!!
I not so recently ordered new magazines which took FOREVER to arrive from Japan. But I've been toting them around ever since!

I got Blenda's August issue (because Namie was on the cover!) and Jelly's September issue.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned magazines on here, but Jelly is hands down my favorite. It was always the more mature and stylish (imo) of the Japanese gyaru magazines. Some people don't even really consider it gyaru...but more just fashionable lady's wear?
Whatevs.
But lately gyaru fashion has matured a bit (thank God) and now other magazines are delving into it...or I'm noticing them more. So this was my first ever issue of Blenda, which I believe has always been similar to Jelly, just I didn't notice them.
And now I just ordered 3 back issues of Nuts...which I never thought I would ever buy! (Pix and info when they arrive)

I also started following Rienda and Murua on instagram....horrible idea for a shopaholic!
I literally want everything that they post!
To be honest though, one of these days I will go ahead and start buying the designer items since most of them are conveniently on one site...Runway webstore.
Here are some of my faves (all from Murua)
Awesome jewel collar top from Murua. Comes in Black and White options.
Really cool "cuff" like earring that says...Murua :)
(This one comes in a pierce or version for "pierced" ears and an "earring" which is actually a clip on)
Comes in silver and gold options

Tassel earrings (as if I don't have enough) in milky green. Also comes in a nudy pink, white, and black.
There are also some gorgeous velvet crop tops and loads of houndstooth sweaters, cardigans, and skirt sets.

Hope this was inspiring! Haul is coming soon on the items I found at Forever 21 inspired by these sites and magazines :)

Love,
Sierra Anastasia

Haul part II!
So in between even posting the new items I bought...I bought more items...
Is this a sign of being a shopaholic?

Oh wells!

So here's a massive post on my new stuff so that I can be caught up and up to date :)
Belts from Forever 21

Baroque style cross earrings (Forever 21) & Edgy knuckle rings (Laila Rowe)
Double strand gem necklace (Francesca's Collections)
 Baroque style scarf (H&M)
Can be placed on handbag, used around neck, in hair, or as a belt :)
Faux leather envelope wallet with detachable coin purse (Aldo)
(Love this!) Cozy knitted sweater with leather trim (H&M) & Long (wrinkled xD) chiffon top in a light mauve-y color (H&M)
Cozy & warm gray sweater with gems & beads (LOFT)
Finally got new brushes! Pink bristles with gold & black barrels (Sonia Kashuk for Target)

Well that's it for now. Unfortunately this isn't really it...but so as not to overwhelm...

More soon :)

As well as outfits!!!

Lens Review

Before I post the next part to my haul,
I want to do a mini review on a circle lens site I found.
The website is called IEye Beauty, but the site is actually colorcontactsus.com.
On this site, I have made two separate orders and really like the service so far.
I will review the lens, but really want to recommend the site as well as the prices are quite low (lower than the site I used to purchase at), and shipping to East Coast only takes 1 week!

As well, on my first order one of the lens they sent me was wrong and they shipped a new one to me without any hassle :)

So on the the lenses!
The first lens I ordered were the GEO Magic Three Tone Color lenses in Gray.
They come packaged as such:
The packaging is so pretty and pink! But back to the lens...I must say that I don't like it.
Was really disappointed by GEO this time. The lens, which is supposed to look gray, looks more like a hazy brown on my eyes (which are dark brown). While I really wanted gray, I would settle for the brown, but the lenses make my eye look smaller! Crazy I know! I think this is better for those with small eyes, which this would just change the color and be very natural looking.
Close up of the lens.
The color is quite light and there is no dark ring.
The diameter is supposed to be 14.5mm but my natural eye ended up being a little bigger, making my eye seem smaller :(
So overall...
Enlarging: 0/5
Comfort: 4/5
Color: 2/5
Price: $16.20
Ya I didn't like these and would not recommend (unless you have really small and light eyes to begin with)=/

Next up are the ones that I've been moaning over the last few months. These puppies are quite expensive in my opinion, and are the reason I ordered the first pair (trying to pay less for a similar look).
But alas, I guess some things you just have to buy the real thing.
Yay! The Geo Princess Mimi Bambi lenses in Gray *drool*
I love these!
Although the price is a bit high, at $26.73, they are worth every penny!
Close up time-
These don't even look gray on the lens but look beyond great on the eye!
At 15mm diameter and a nice thick black outer rim, they really open up and enlarge my eyes while still looking semi natural.
(At home in poor light)
(Outside daytime)
So overall...
Color: 5/5
Comfort: 5/5
Enlarging: 5/5
Well worth it!

Until my next post (haul???),

Love and shopping,

Sierra Anastasia

Welcome Fall^^

Fall is coming!

So as a proper shopaholic, I have to welcome the season appropriately with shopping!

So here is part 1 of my new fall additions :)
*Excuse the background*
First up is this structured emerald green handbag from H&M.
This is by far my new fave handbag! It is huge, such a pretty color, and screams fall.

Comes complete with feet at the bottom (a must for that nice luxurious feel), a shoulder strap in addition to the top handles, and side snaps to keep it slimmer (or release for massive room).
Next up are these super duper uber awesome hot pants from Forever21!
On the front they have an intricate rope and beaded pattern that looks like it came off of a runway or music video...complete love. Then the back is made of plain black lace, quite considerate for the bum.
Then I picked up this flared jacket from Ann Taylor. Super disappointed on how it photographs, but it's actually quite cute on. Love the color and pattern, and the lightweight feel of the fabric. Also, makes for a very mature and powerful look!

Lastly are these two items also from Ann Taylor.
The white blazer was an awesome find for a great price and also makes a really cool, mature, and edgy look. Then I picked up this chain and ribbon trimmed navy t-shirt. While I don't wear many t-shirts, I figure that it can be dressed up with a nice blazer or leather jacket.

Well that's it for part 1, part 2 is closely behind!

Love,

Sierra Anastasia
